Emma's story

My Mother and her Mother were both secretaries, one travelling to London at 16 wearing her own home-made suits, and the other, a 1950s & 60s school secretary. Inevitably, I was encouraged to go down the same route, starting as an Office Junior for a Building Contractor making tea, filing, printing and folding plans.  Now, I have 35 years behind me in Administration, Secretarial, Personal Assistant, Office Manager and Virtual Assistant (VA) roles. It has been an amazing journey and I have worked with some fascinating people in many different sectors along the way.

Providing small to medium sized businesses with a flexible and dependable service, I am conscientious about the work I produce for all of my clients.  Using skills to deliver a wide variety of administrative and PA tasks, which would otherwise take up their valuable time. Delegating the day to day administrative tasks of your business to a VA, leaves you to concentrate on growing your business and making money.

Behind the Scenes

When Emma is not in her Dorset based office, she finds time for sewing crafts, walking Monty and travelling in her campervan.

Monty is a Collie/Lab/Lurcher cross, aka Mr Monty Woof, and his focus is balls and frisbees.

Emma also shares her office with Tigger, the marmalade cat.

Initially, I engaged Emma to enter a number of expenses to my cloud bookkeeping system. However, Emma has gone on to help me set up and work within my CRM system. Emma now carries out a number of tasks for me including but certainly not limited to proofreading, typing up and formatting documents, running reports, assisting with social media, inputting text and changing text content on websites, communicating with customers, file organisation, and assisting in ironing out of processes as the business grows.
